Antique Dutch purple delft Tile. This is a very old purple painted Tile. There on the right side little edge damage and the tile has been cut off at the top. Most people think that Delft tile are always blue but this is not true. There where many other colors used. This is one of the older color paint. This tile is not marked but this was very often the case, sins the purpose of the tile usually was to put them on walls. Only later they began to mark tiles on the back. It has a hook to hang it on the wall glued to it. This was added later in its life. 111129a/003
