This is a DVD of the 69th Infantry Division in WW II. The 69th Infantry Division was awarded two battle stars for the campaigns of the Rhineland and Central Europe, and served in combat for 82 days. Arriving late in the European War the 69th Infantry Division had the distinction of being the first American troops to meet up with the oncoming Russian Army on the Elbe River in Germany. The 69th Infantry Division first entered combat in January of 1945 when it relieved the 99th Infantry Division in Belgium. This DVD was made using maps, division histories, old newspaper and magazine articles, many signal corps photographs, statistics, order of battle, decorations and awards, insignia, military music, military props, material from the National Archives and from German sources. This is not a Hollywood production, but a good sequential history of the 69th Infantry Division during WW II. With each purchase of this DVD we will include a sheet of 30 return address labels with the division shoulder patch and your name and address printed on them - or any other name and address you might furnish if this is meant as a gift. The DVD was recorded and stored in a smoke free facility, and comes in an attractive plastic case.
