You are bidding on a DVD-ROM that has high-quality scans of 20 manuals all relating to the North American Aviation B-25 bomber. These are not your Grandmother's scans. Special care has been taken with the half-tone images to make sure that all the detail and depth of the originals is preserved. Some amount of color-correction has been applied to the color prints, although I wasn't able to always get the colors perfect due to yellowing of the pages or fading of the inks. NOTE: I can make a printed copy of any of the manuals on this DVD-ROM for about 10 cents/page. I have many such reprints listed on eBay right now. Please contact me if you would like one that isn't currently listed on eBay. Buyer pays fixed shipping charges of $2 for US, $5 for foreign. These are the individual manuals, totalling over 8000 pages: "Supplement List of Applicable Publications USAF Series B-25J, TB-25J, K, L, M and N Aircraft and Equipment" T.O. 1B-25(T)J-01D, 1 February 1958. 8 pages. This pamphlet is a list of all the technical publications the AAF thought people associated with the B-25 should know about. "Pilot Training Manual for the B-25", AAF Manual No. 50-11, 1 April, 1945, 170 pages. This is a full-color scan of the marvelous cartoon-style manuals the AAF prepared for quickly training large numbers of rookie pilots. It is not as detailed as the dry, technical manuals, but it gives the basics and a lot of "common sense" recommendations. "Structural Repair Instructions for Army Models B-25 Series, Navy Models PBJ-1 Series, British Models Mitchell Series Airplanes" AN 01-60G-3, 20 July 1944, Revised 15 November 1944, 510 pages. This is a step-by-step instruction manual for restoring a plane that has been shot up. It includes structural repair as well as exterior treatment. - Same as above, but revised 15 April 1952, 540 pages. Has a number of revisions and some extra sections. "Flight Manual Models B-25C and B-25D Bombardment Airplanes", North American Aviation report NA-5231, 350 pages. No date - probably early 1940's. This is the manufacturer's operating instructions for the aircraft. The military manuals are generally taken from these. Sections include Description, Location of Controls, Operation of Controls, Special Instructions (Flying limitations, handling in mud or sand), Loading Instructions, Charts, Index, Emergency Instructions. "Maintenance Manual B-25C, B-25D for First and Second Echelon U.S. Army Air Forces", North American Aviation, 1314 pages. This is the manufacturer's "big book" on the airplane. It is very detailed and covers every section of the plane. Chapters include Construction, Surface Controls, Landing Gear, Engines, Engine Mounting, Propellers, Fuel System, Oil System, Hydraulic System, Electrical System, Radio Equipment, Instruments, De-Icers & Anti-Icers, Heating & Ventilating, Oxygen System, Furnishings, Bombs & Torpedoes, Armament, Photographic Equipment, Handling, Load & Balance, Work Prior to Flight, Reference Tables. "Special Ferrying Instructions for B-25D Series Airplanes Equipped with Extra-Long Distance Fuel Supply Tanks", North American Aviation Report No. NA-5268, 98 pages. This is an odd little manual. For getting these planes across the Atlantic in one go, they stuck extra fuel tanks in the bomb bays. This manual tells you all about it. It was not well-printed - looks like a mimeograph. I did the best I could to get a good scan, but there are limits. "Flight Manual B-25H Ground Attack and Bombardment Airplanes" North American Aviation, Report No. NA-5770, March 20 1944, 260 pages. This is analogous to the B-25C and D Flight Manual listed above. It goes through all aspects of operating the aircraft. Note that in these later models (after the introduction of the Liberator and Superfortress), they start emphasizing the ground attack aspects rather than the bombing capabilities. "Parts Catalog USAF Series B-25H-1, -5, -10, B-25J-1, -5, -10, -15, -20, -25, -30 and -35, Navy Models PB...
