E. Brain & Co Glencarry Thistle Tea Set
A hand painted cup and saucer with accompanying tea plate by E. Brain & Co. Ltd of England in the Glencarry Thistle pattern. There are no chips or cracks in any of the pieces. The tea plate has minor use wear. The gold trim is in excellent condition. They are marked as shown. The mark dates these pieces as made between 1948-1963. This mark and the wording "Foley China was not used after July 21,1963 since EB & Co. decided to concentrate their production at the Coalport Works which they purchased in 1958.
