The item on offer is an E. Hartnack No. II Homogeneous immersion microscope objective. The objective has a female thread that is not the RMS standard, so the objective may predate the adoption of that standard or be slightly later, perhaps 1870-ish. The lens appears clear and free of delamination (see photo) but I could not test it for lack of a suitable instrument; the objective case is clean and free of scratches. The objective is sold as is. The winning bidder will pay $10 for UPS Ground shipping and insurance in the continental US, actual cost elsew Payment by Paypal is preferred but a personal check drawn on a US bank is acceptable.
