E. HOWARD 23j SERIES O 14k GOLD FANCY HUNTING CASE Circa: 1914. This watch represents the best model this Co. offered. This 23 jewel is very scarce in a hunting model and is extra desirable in this original and very beautiful 14k gold case. This Am. Mfg. Has often been referred to as "The Patek Phillipe of American production". The images of this watch speak for themselves with it's elegant appearance. Clean, running and most desirable of the Keystone Howard models. Mint, running. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: White porcelain double sunken dial with fancy Arabic figures marked: "HOWARD". A tin y cluster exists at 2 edge and does not distract. MOVEMENT: 16 size, hunting model, pendent set, 2 finger nickel bridge model, 23 all pressed in red ruby jewel settings, "Pat'd 10", "Special Adjustment/Five Positions/ Temperature", "23 Jewels", #1,286,033. This movement is original to the case and is free of blemish, rust, scratches, or distraction. CASE: Near mint, original 14k gold very hunting case featuring lots of leaf and a black crest. This case very desirable because of it's beauty combining with condition. The case is original to the movement and dial.
