Your bidding on a very nice E. Ingraham kitchen clock in the gingerbread design. These are sometimes called parlor clocks or just shelf or mantel clocks. This one is all original and in very good condition
The movement of this clock has been properly cleaned and oiled. Inspected with no sign of bushing wear enough to warrant replacing any at this time.Beat set using beat amplifier, and had suspension spring replaced. I have been running clock for over week since, has not stopped once and keeps very accurate time.I will stand behind this one with warranty on movement that if any problems will, fix provide all parts and labor for one year. One must have an understanding about these clocks that they are antiques and absolutely none will keep time like a quartz battery powered clock or the LED clock on your VCR-DVD. You have to many variables with technology from their time that they never were that accurate. Temperature change alone will make them lose or gain time depending on cold or hot as causes rod holding weight to expand or contract. T are also other variables i.e. friction amount of levelness and many others but I'll stop playing science teacher All this is mentioned because I don't want anyone to think when I say I'll provide a warranty, and I will, that if the clock gains or loses a minute and t and even stops and has to be restarted on occasion that t is a real problem. Any real problem like clock keeps stopping or won't run will be fixed for buyer for free at shipping cost only expense. These are true antique clocks. Most want for decorative or collectable purposes and none even bought from any store or wver should be relied on as a totally accurate timepiece. Although don't get me wrong the ones I stand behind are actually really accurate clocks with only very period adjustment needed. Back to this clock. It is a very nice gingerbread design.Has original glass, face ,and pendulum, all--to best of my knowledge.Dimensions are 24 inches tall,14 and a half inches wide, and 4 and a half inches deep. This one is a great example of clocks from this era, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection. Or would just be a shining focal point of any room. Also great gift for holidays. Will have lower starting bid with some reserve. Reserve will be set at approximate value of estimate of clocks of this type. I own so can sell if reserve isn't met yet bid satisfies me or equals money I have into clock. Good luck bidding. Bid with great confidence, and happy bidding on all your ebay items.
