L E Smith Glass A rt D eco H orse B ookends Absolutely stunning vintage 1940's pair of L E Smith Glass Company jumping horse bookends in crystal glass. Each bookend is impressive and substantial in size measuring 7" tall x 9 1/4" length. The horse is solid crystal clear glass, the fancy grass-design bottom section is hollow. Vintage and distinctively Art Deco, horses are heavy and beautifully intricate. Bookends are in pristine condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Exquisite accessories for the Antique, Vintage, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Regency, Empire, or Art Moderne inspired decor. Horses can be used as traditional bookends or separately anchoring each side of console table or buffet, on fireplace mantle, in study or resting on stack of books in library. As always, No Reserve.
