E. Swasey Mini Stoneware Tea Pot, Crock, Portland, ME This is a miniature stoneware tea pot from E. Swasey & Co., Portland, Maine. These miniature tea pots are rare, but to find one with the original cover is very rare. This one is in excellent condition. T is what looks like a chip on the edge of the cover, it is glazed over, so it is a manufacture flaw. The round piece missing on the cover is made that way, so you can remove the cover. It turns and locks in place when put on the pot. The piece measures 3 3/4" tall and 2 3/4" in diameter at the widest point, 4 1/4" from tip of spout to the handle. If buyer chooses not to insure, it will be shipped at buyers risk. I pack very well, but can't guarantee against breakage or loss. If the shipping calculator for USPS underestimates the actual shipping rate, I reserve the right to ship the item using an alternative shipper. It will be either DHL or UPS in these circumstances. If this is an issue, you must let me know prior to bidding. Buyers located in Maine will be subject to a 5% sales tax, unless a valid sales tax number is provided.I will gladly accept bids from International buyers, but the only form of payment accepted is Paypal in US funds, no exceptions. Please do not ask me to falsify customs documents, I will not do it. I will gladly offer returns on items that have not been accurately represented. Please keep in mind that the condition of antiques and collectibles is very subjective. I provide good photos and describe items to the best of my ability, but I am not an expert on all items. If t is something that is not well represeted by the description or the photos provided, it is the repsonsibility of the buyer to ask questions to avoid any misunderstandings or disappointments. If you concerned about missing parts or parts that may not be original to the piece, you must ask questions or accept the piece "as is". I cannot anticipate all questions or know all issues that may be imporatant to the buyer. I will refund the initial shipping, but return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Items must be returned within 3 days of receipt and in the same condition. Please remember to insure returned items, I cannot be responsible for items that are lost or damaged in shipping.
