Vintage Photo Aircraft (postcard size but no postcard masthead) Avro 616 Avian IVM G-AAXHThe Avro Avian was a series of British light aircraft designed and built by Avro in the 1920s and '30sA version with a welded steel tube fuselage was produced in 1929 as the Avro 616 Avian IVM to meet overseas requirements for an easier-to-repair structure. This version was built in the largest numbers, with approximately 190 built.These photographs are approx 140 x 90 mm. They are from a collection of a New Zealand based enthusiast who amassed thousands of photographs mainly from 1950s/1960s and 1970s. I do not have his name but he was the photographer for the majority of the collection. There is only one copy of each available, I do not have the negatives not will I sell scans.Imperial War Museum photoDescription hand written on back plus a series of numbers referencing them to his collection.Excellent conditionI am happy to combine items, up to 15 items for one postage cost.
