Black leather upholstered coconut style chair measuring 42"wide, 33" high, and 30" deep, in good condition. T is some minor wear and tear mostly fromstorage, please refer to photos as well as description. T is some wearing of both right and left outer edges of the upholstery. T is also a small patch of rub on the back top corner of the chair. These areas could be made almost invisible if they were touched up with with a black sharpie or leather dye. This chair was used as a decorative piece in a reception hallway for about a month or two before being banished to a storage room for about two years. It is a great example of mid-century modern design; very space aged atomic fifties looking. T are no markings or labels on the bottom of the chair so I do not know if this is an authentic George Nelson coconut chair or not, it is only a few years old and definitely not an original 1950's chair. This chair is being sold as is, it is not perfect, but by no means is it in bad shape, I would have no problem using this chair in my own home in the condition it is. I have done my best to describe what I consider minor flaws of the piece, but please ask questions if you have any. I will do my best to answer any questions you have. Because of the used nature of this item t will be no refunds or returns accepted. The chair is available for local pick up in New York City or the buyer can arrange for packing and delivery by a shipping company. Note it is the buyer's responsibility to pay for packing and shipping charges. The chair is located in Midtown Manhattan, zip code 10036. Pick up is available between 9 am and 9 pm M-F, t is no carrying up or down any stairs; elevators are available to get the chair to the street.
