You are bidding on a FABULOUS EAMES ERA GEORGE NELSON - LIKE SOFA / CONVERTABLE DAYBED. This is a very unique piece of furniture that I haven't seen before , the only label is attached to one of the springs ( see pic ) , it reads " Carolina Springs Works , High Point , N.C. " , it is constructed of a solid black rod iron frame with a spring loaded seat for comfort , which is upholstered in a brown vinyl / naugahide that is damage free. As you will see in my pictures the backrest flips over and down to reveal a daybed , very unique , It also retains all it's buttons and brass feet Sturdy , tight and in excellent overall condition with very minor normal paint wear. Measures as sofa 31" tall , 81" wide and 34" deep. Would go very well with Knoll , George Nelson , Herman Miller , Paul McCobb or Hans Wegner style furnishings.
