for your consideration is a Charles Eames Side Shell Rocker. This is an original pale green shell on a new reproduction zinc-plated rocker base with solid walnut runners. The fiberglass is in great condition, consistent with age, but with no scuffs, scratches, or other major damage other than one 1/2-inch fracture on the bottom right side of the seat (see detail pic). It is a clean break that is hardly noticeable- I didn't even realize it was t until I ran my hand around the edge of the chair. The color is uniform and the shell retains its original luster. This color was called Seafoam Green (SF); it is a pastel green color that is a modern and neutral color. Long ago the schockmounts hardened and gave up on this shell and were replaced with carriage bolts. Those old rusty carriage bolts have now been replaced and it comes with a new set of carriage bolts, washers, and nuts. Don't miss out on this gorgeous chair!
