1950's Eames Lounge Chair with Ottoman by Herman Miller Original owner selling this late 1950's Eames Lounge Chair with Ottoman made by Herman Miller. The chair and ottoman both have a black leather upholstery and rosewood shells. The s et is in very good condition, wood does have a few very minor sc ratches and one small surface chip on th e wood underneath of the ottoman ( not visible when cushion is on)The ottoman cushion back was damaged over time but has been expertly repaired by HM restoration specialist ( new fiber board back and original clips replaced) . All leather is original on the chair and ottoman. Leather on the ottoman does have some cracking and and one very small surface cut, but otherwise is in great shape. Chair leather is in really good shape with some minor wear on the seat cushion. T he chair and ottoman have always been in a non-smoking environment. This set has no structural issues and is perfectly sturdy . The Herman Miller label (as shown in one of the pictures) is a round- black- silver, a very early-sought after period of production for you collectors. Due to the shipping logistics we are unable to offer this piece for sale to overseas bidders. Buyer must pay all shipping and handling fees before item is sent. Do not contact us to ask if we can sell outside of Ebay.
