Measuring 28 3/4" wide, 35" deep, 12" high at the seat as shown (without a cushion), and 28 1/2"high at the back, this fabulous vintage lounge chair features solid wood sculptural construction with long angled legs and sides. T is no manufacturers mark I could detect. The finish has light wear and scuffs, but refinishing is optional. The wood type is unfamiliar to me, with areas of heavy striping and a golden patina. T are signs of multiple filled nail holes from old strapping that will be covered by a cushion, and the underside stretcher has a fill area that does not show until looked for. T is some fine cracking under the strapping which may need some attention (see photo ), otherwise the condition is very good and sturdy as shown. This chair is so organic and unique, just stunning to see, and I think it will look even more fantastic with new upholstery or leather cushions. Whether dressed in Animal Print, Raw Silk, Asian or Off White Contemporary Modern, this piece will look striking! Shipping via Greyhound terminal to terminal to any state in the lower 48 will be $78 including packaging with thick bubble wrap and cocooning with shrink wrap, and up to $300 of insurance. Delivery to the downtown Seattle or Edmonds side of the ferry will be $40, local delivery will be $16, and local pick up is always welcome. Suitable for any room of the period home or office, this quality chair will compliment any Eames Nakashima Noguchi Era, Danish Modern, or Retro Modern decor, and t is no reserve so Good luck and Thank you for all bids!
