Offered for your consideration is a PAIR of Italian designed arm chairs from the mid-1950's by Oliver Borsani. They are in excellent original condition for their age, but I recommend re-web the under side and recover as the chairs are showing some wear more from age than from use. These one owner chairs still retain their original lavender silk fabric which has been professionally cleaned but shows minor staining from furniture polish that must have gotten on the fabric. VERY PRESENTABLE AS IS JUST THE SAME. The wood arms are very sculptural and in excellent condition! They are reminiscent of the work of PONTI and KAGAN. PLEASE ask all questions before bidding These chairs have been seen on other sites sold for $4,500 each - Auction is for the pair and our reserve is reasonable.
