Offered is an antique Early American Pattern Glass pedestal compote with lid and 8 matching sauce bowls in the Center Medallion pattern produced by the Riverside Glass Works of Wellsburg, West Virginia in 1883. The large compote measures 11" tall, 9 ½" handle to handle, 7" long and 4 ½" wide. It is in good condition with no cracks but does have a couple chips. It has a small chip on the bottom base edge. The lid has a small chip on 2 of the corners, on the side edge and a small chip on the inner rim. These are very minor and not at all distracting. The 8 sauce bowls measures 6" handle to handle, 4 ¼" long and 2 ¾" wide. 2 ¼" deep. All 8 sauce bowl have no cracks but all have some nicks and or chips on the rim edges. Four bowls have chips on the base edges. This is a beautiful old set and would be a great addition to any collection or set. I do combine shipping costs for multiple items won.
