Early American Pressed Glass Whimsy
Here is a pretty neat and unique piece of Early American Pressed Glass.
I have been told by some that this is a McKee Champion pattern, and I
have been told by others it could be a Greentown #75 pattern. Upon searching the Greentown Glass Book, could it be the #11 sugar base? For all I
know it could be Bryce Brothers or another, I do not know. No matter
it is a beautiful piece, and would make a wonderful addition to any
collection.
The piece measures approximately 8" long and 6" wide and is 4" to the
highest point. I could not find any chips or cracks, although, like all EAPG
glass, there are some bubbles and straw marks.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for looking!
