EAPG CUT GLASS? BISCUIT JAR W LID INTRICATE PATTERN NoR This is a beautiful EAPG biscuit jar with lid. This is an intricate pattern which I have been unable to identify. This biscuit jar stands 8 1/2" tall with lid. The rim diameter is 5 1/2". No cracks or chips to the jar itself. T is minimal 3 chips on the inside rim of the cover from hitting the rim when replacing the cover during use I would imagine. The pattern looks somewhat like pineapple, especially on the cover, but then t is the horseshoe like pattern cupping the pinapple pattern. The knob on the cover is also patterned. It feels a like it could be cut glass, but alas, I am not sure. It does glow green under black light. I purchased this wonderful piece at a Vermont Estate auction. The house had been closed up for 35 years due to estate issues. I purchased this weeks ago and have been trying to identify the pattern ever since. The chips on the inside rim of the cover are more like flea bites, nothing to detract from the beauty of this lovely piece. A friendly ebayer just dropped me a note saying she has the exact same pattern cover, when she was small they used it to cover and keep toast warm, her mother recently passed away at 90, and she had this when she was young mother also. She doesn't know the pattern either though! Most of our items are acquired on weekend ventures read more
