A beautiful clear glass cruet in the very popular "FEATHER" pattern.Introduced in 1896 and manufactured until about 1901 by McKee & Brothers ofJeannette, PA, the cruet is about 5 1/4 in. tall to top of handle and about 6 ½ in. tall to top of stopper. Diameter at widest point is about 3 1/2 in. It is in excellent condition free of chips, nicks and cracks. There is some roughness on the inner ledge inside the spout which is very typical. Lip and rim are perfect. The stopper has slight roughness on very bottom from where it was snapped when made. There is a minor “frosty” transfer inside the neck from the frosted end of the stopper. The glass is clear without cloudiness, discoloration or chemical deposits. If you collect pressed glass, this would be a lovely addition to your collection.
