While similar in style to Greentown water pictures, the Hound and Hare Water Picture is attributed to the Findlay Glass Company in Ohio. This pitcher is not often seen so if water pitchers are your thing and you don't have this one yet --- here it is!!! Hard to find (HTF) in any condition, this water pitcher is in pretty good shape considering it is over 100 years old. There are a few stress fractures on the bottom, but they don't go "through" the glass. I tried to photograph them but they didn't show up on the image so saw no reason to add that photo. Overall I would rate this pitcher as very good -- almost excellent. The pitcher has the typical straw marks common of the era glass. Incidently, this is only a two-piece mold pitcher, so the images on one side are mirrored on the opposite side. Many other EAPG pitchers are made using a three or even four-piece molds. I didn't detect any chips or other noteworthy flaws on this piece. I will fully refund your money if you aren't happy with this item, but you must pay the return shipping cost.
