EAPG McKee Glass Cruet ~ Cambridge Fine Cut & Feather

Description:....The era of Early American Pattern Glass brought such beauty to glass.
This Cruet is a wonderful piece, in the Feather pattern.
Also called Fine Cut Feather, Feather & Quill and Indiana Feather.
Produced by Mckee Glass Company, Pittsburgh, Pa. ~ Circa 1896-1901
Cambridge Glass Co., Cambridge Ohio continued the pattern from 1902-1903.

Height:................. 5 ½" cruet
Height:................. 7" with the stopper in place
Diameter:............4" body diameter
Base diameter:..... 2 5/8"
Length:................. 3" stopper ~ top knob is 1 1/8" diameter

Special features:... The bulbous body is patterned with the swirled feathers.
The mouth and spout are scalloped.
The handle has the thumb knob and is beaded, like the feather swirls.
The bottom has a great pontil mark.
The beautiful Fine cut stopper also has a sharp cut end.

Condition:..............nice clarity of the clear glass.
It is crystal clear, in true light. Nice color tone under the black light.
The cruet is undamaged and has a nice weight.

A beautiful EAPG ~ Mckee Glass Cruet, for any collector.
