Up for auction is a beautiful flint goblet in the "New England Pineapple " pattern. The pattern is also known as "Loop and Jewell", "Pineapple" and "sawtooth". The pattern is generally attributed to the New England Glass Co., Cambridge, Mass., circa the 1860"s. The goblet is in excellent condition with no chips, flicks or cracks. The glass is clear and bright and has that flint ring to it when tapped with a pencil. The pedistal base is plain. Thegoblet was made made in a 3 part mold. The goblet stands 6 1/8" tall . The top dimension is about 3 1/4" in diameter with the pedistal base also being 3 1/4" in diameter Successful bidder to pay shipping based on 2 lbs. from Zip Code 06001, insurance will be additional.
