Largepedestal or footed rose bowl. Fostoria Tuxedo. Dates 1908 to 1910. Slightly sun purple. 6.25” widest body diameter. 6.75” tall. About 3” diameter opening. 5” point to point base. Weighs about 3-1/4 pounds as it sits. I’d say this is in extremely good condition. No chips, cracks or large nicks. No mineral deposit or other discoloration of the interior. I found a flea bite on one panel edge below the widest part of the ball, so it doesn’t show. There are flea bites on the sharp vertical edges of the base, and a couple on the beveled edge of the base. There are annealing lines, air bubbles and inclusions typical of this old glass, but nothing huge. Feel free to email with any questions or for additional pictures. Thanks for looking! The calculator is really only an estimate and I try to be on the heavy side so there are no surprises when the auction ends! I do not try to make money on shipping.
