Circa: 1890-1915 Belle Époque Period of Decorative ArtsSigned: KRYS-TOLDescription: This is a magnificent 1/2" globe shaped punch bowl resting on a pedestal of the American Brilliant period. The punch bowl has a swirled tusk collar over 1/4" deep cut motifs of pinwheels and hobstars in the " Harvard" or "Cane" patterns which give a 3 dimensions effect and reflects light like diamonds. The hobstars are surrounded by crosshatch and cane patterns. The bowl rests upon a flared base with similar design and alternating sawtooth or scalloped edge. Comes with bowl, base and five cups.Dimensions: 11" x 16"This piece weighs an approximately 20 pounds.Condition: Very Good Condition commensurate with age; two small chips on sawtooth base and one on the upper rim of bowl. There are two scratches about an inch in length.
