EARLY AMERICAN PRESSED GLASS GOBLET FLINT GLASS "SAWTOOTH" aka MITRED "DIAMOND "PATTERN NEW ENGLAND GLASS COMPANY c1850s MINT I SHIP WORLDWIDE PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PICTURES APPEAR DARK AS THEY WERE SHOT IN DIFFUSED LIGHT TO BETTER CAPTURE THE DETAIL OF THE PATTERN. Being offered in this sale is a CLEAR, heavy, bell-tone flint, early American pressed pattern glass GOBLET in what I believe to be the Sawtooth pattern that was made by the New England Glass Company circa 1850s. This is part of an eighteen piece collection of Diamond Point glass that I just acquired from a local estate - including 11 goblets. I listed the goblets individually as they do vary very marginally in size and two have a slightly different knop on the stem. As I was writing the description for this goblet I realized that this one piece may actually be the SAWTOOTH pattern not Diamond Point. The diamonds are a little bit larger than on the other goblets and most importantly the unpatterned panels on the lower part of the bowl on this piece are rounded was on the other ten goblets they are straight. The condition is MINT. T are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. In addition t is no interior surface residue. The man who assembled this collection was extremely particular about condition. T is not so much as a flake on any of the pieces in this collection. The last three images illustrate a number of other pieces that I have listing separately on Ebay. You are bidding on only the one goblet in this sale. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. This piece is being sold without a reserve as long as t is an opening bid. High bidder to pay $6.00 shipping/ including insurance - inside the United States - $8.00 to Canada. SAVE ON SHIPPING: If you are bidding on or plan to bid on more than one item I will at your request hold the items to ship together. I WILL SHIP TO EUROPE for $20.00.
