RARE ANTIQUE ENGLISH STERLING SET OF 6 TEASPOONS 1820'S PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION CALCULATE SHIPPING AT END OF LISTING PAYPAL ONLY, IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF USA We are offering this fabulous set of early Antique ENGLISH STERLING SILVER , GOLD WASHED TEASPOONS , attributed to WILLIAM TRAIES of LONDON . The outstanding workmanship and hand engraved designs, make this set truly a Rare Find. Each spoon is entirely hand engraved with such deep chasing, that it can be felt on the other side as is evident in the bowl of the spoons. The floral engravings in the bowl have the outlines on the back, which we show in our photos. The top of the handle has a monogram, which is CA and on the handle back t is a Lion Passant and W.T in a plain rectangular punch. The edges of the bowls are fluted and the top back of the handle is Tipt with more engraving down the handle. These are Museum Quality spoons and are in Near Mint Condition , showing almost no wear of any kind and no damage at all. The gold plating is in amazing condition for spoons that are over 180 years old . Only a tiny amount of the silver shows through. It looks as though these were passed down, from generation to generation and not used. *** This set is a MUST HAVE for the Antique Silver Collector. Don't let these get away from you! *** The spoons measure 5" in length and together they weigh 2.91 troy ounces of sterling silver.
