EARLY 1800s PRIMITIVE PINE ANTIQUE WASHSTAND, NIGHTSTAND Presenting an Early Primitive Pine Antique Washstand. Perfectly Versatile to use as a Nightstand, End Table or anyw in your home. Features charming, centuries~old Pumkin Pine construction that has developed a very pleasing, mellow aged patina. Perfectly worn & naturally distressed with a great natural seperation on the wide pine plank top. Very nice & authentic with the old hand forged Iron, "square head" nails. Great scroll cut, Tall Backsplash. Made with Traditional Hand cut Mortise & Tenon Joinery. You can see the makers layout & hand tool marks throughout. Surfaces are Hand Planed. The drawer has a great sculpted, curved front with the old turned mushroom knobs. Drawer construction is done with traditional old world hand cut Dovetail Joinery & a hand planed, chamfered edge bottom. Rests on turned country legs with block & stretcher base.
