Staffordshire Transferware. Fabulous early blue transfer pearlware plate by Rogers. Impressed "Rogers" mark. Circa 1820. Great transfer with a shepherd playing the lute in the field with sheep. Nice crisp and detailed transfer. This pattern is on the scarce side. Condition is excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Nice and clean. Wonderful early example of a scarce pattern. Measures 7 2/8" in diameter.
