DESCRIPTION: This is an old, large, pocket, purse, or desk top advertising mirror. It is marked “American Automobile Insurance Company St. Louis Milwaukee Branch Office 373 Broadway” and “L.A.Harris, President”. On the edge, it is marked “Parisian Nov. Co. Chicago”. It pictures an eagle on a shield in front of a wood spoked wheel, and may have been made in the 1920’s, or possibly earlier. MATERIALS: Celluloid and metal with glass mirror. DIMENSIONS: Measures about 3-3/8 inches in diameter. CONDITION: Overall in GOOD CONDITION. It was probably carried in a pocket or purse for some years, and has wear, but has held up well. The mirror has lost some of its backing, but is still useable. If you collect antique advertising or pocket mirrors, this will be a nice addition to your collection.
