Up for your consideration today, I have a set of beautiful antique hurricane style electric lamps. I have owned these lamps for over 20 years. These were passed down in my family. I should have long ago found out the history of these lamps, but never did. My great aunt says they were my great granparents wedding gift. ( they are no longer living) I did some research and my great grandparents were married in 1925. But I cannot be sure of this information because my great aunts memory may not be correct. I do know they are very old and have been well cared for. Each Lamp is 24 1/2" tall, 38" round (top globe), 22" round (bottom globe) 11' wide and 7" between each foot on the base of the lamp. These are big and beautiful. They have always made as a conversation piece in my home. My kids are all grown and we moved into a smaller living space and I know longer have any of the Victorian furniture I once collected. These lamps are the last to go. I really don't want to part with them, but I don't have the room. T is only 2 small flaws I can see on these lamps. On one of the bottom globes, t is a burn mark on the inner liner, someone before me may have used a high watt light bulb. I believe this can be replaced. On one of the cords, t are tiny bit marks, but the wires are not exposed. This can also be replaced. The top globe can be turned on, or the bottom only or both can be on at the same time. I'm sorry I can't give more history on their age. They are very beautiful and in wonderful condition. I will ship these lamps in 2 boxes and will charge an extra $10.00 total on the shipping for the packing materials (foam blocks, foam wrap, bubble wrap etc) I would say shipping would be between $15.00 to $20.00 per box. They are big and heavy. T is no way I will ship both in one box. These lamps can also be picked up at my home. I am located in Goshen, IN. I'm about 40 minutes from Notre Dame. Any questions??? I'm starting this auction at an unheard of 99 cents with no reserve. Good luck. questions?? Just ask. Thank you.
