I have been selling postcards from an estate w the young man traveled with circus and side shows in the early part of the 1900's - 1905 - 1925. This album is from the same estate, but someone had taken time to put them in this album and I decided to sell it as is, with 146 postcards. Most are souvenirs from the cities he performed in and the routes that were taken. A sampling of some of the places are: Chanute and Independence, Kansas: Oxford & Murphy N.C.; Lima, Ironton, Akron and Logan, Ohio; Gaylord, Ishpeming, Saginaw, Durand, Cheboygan, Frankfort and Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan; Wash.D.C.; St. Augustine, St. Pete, Sanford, Bartow, Melbourne & Daytona, Florida: Adel, Atlanta & Macon Georgia: Anapolis, Md.;, Jamestown, N.Y.: Slocomb & Montgomery, Alabama; Muskogee, Oklahoma; Bowling Green & Hopkinsville, Kentucky; Manitowoc & Madison, Wisconsin; Pipestone, Minnesota; Norfolk, Virginia; South Bend, Indiana; Chattanooga & Morristown, Tennessee; Hartford, Connecticut; New Orleans, Louisiana: Dover, Delaware; LeMars, Iowa;, West Va.; Hattiesburg, Mississippi. T are ships, railroads, bridges, factories, P.O., churches, hotels, parks, etc. T are a handful of holiday ones like Birthday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentine, & Greetings. T are several real photo postcards, some with people, school group, houses, etc. The album is in very good condition, with the usual few torn strips from putting cards in and out. I would say it is over half full, some pages never being used. The postcards are in fair to very good condition. Some are showing wear, and some have some markings on the fronts. A few I noticed were missing corners. Album measures 9 1/2 X 11". We accept M.O., personal check or Paypal ok if used within 24 hours of sale ending. NO E-CHECKS. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance. I have some single postcards listed today, and would be glad to combine purchases for shipping.
