This auction presents a really lovely Turn-of-the-Century SOUVENIR Creamer made in Germany. It commemorates the historic Canadian village of RIDGEWAY, ONTARIO. The 3 3/4" embossed COBALT BLUE porcelain Creamer Pitcher has a very pretty paneled shape with scalloped rim and a fancy scrolled handle. The handpainted transfer shows a downtown view of "RIDGEWAY, ONT." in the early 1900s. The bottom is stamped "Made in Germany", numbered "70" and has an embossed number I can't make out. I feel sure it was made by either the WHEELOCK or JONROTH factory. This beautiful little Creamer is in excellent estate condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage of any kind. It is sure to be a welcome addition to any collection--and a real "find" for anyone with an interest in early RIDGEWAY history! U.S. Priority shipping and very careful packing is $5.00.
