Two maps on card - not dated but I am guessing they are pre first world war. Both are approximately 16 inches by 12 inches. One map covers the area north of Penrith to Ainstable and east to Gilderdale Forest. This is on card and is in the best condition of the two maps. The two railways that disect the map have been inked in red. There are also some small black ink annotations around Lazonby fell. The second map is coming away at two crease lines. It covers the Alston area and then east to Middleton Common. The railway has been inked in red and there are a number of small annotations (place names) in red and green ink.
