YOU'VE GO TO CHECK OUT THIS UNIQUE SLINGERLAND BANJO! It's a Vintage early 1900's Slingerland Tenor Banjo. Slingerland made banjo's from 1918-1944, most of them student models. The banjo and resonator are in excellent original condition and it plays beautifully. It has in-lay on the neck and head and Ivorylite tuning pegs. The case is wooden and from the era though I do not believe it is origianl to this banjo, it is totally functional, all latches work properly and the padding is in good condition, there is some separation of the wood on the botton of the case but it is easily repairable and does not effect is functionality. This Banjo is somewhere between 93 and 67 years old so it is sold "as is" but I don't think you will be dissappointed.
