Early 1960s Minnesota Vikings Bobble Head Doll An old Vikings bobble head with a square gold base, made in Japan. It's 6½" tall, the base is 2½" x 2¼" , in good condition. The white parts have darkened, the other colors are rich. No chips or cracks, but the decals have some deterioration starting. There's blue ink scribbling in the eyes and an ink line in the crease of the legs. A small spot of color is missing on top of the helmet. The spring works well, it was hard to get the bobbling stopped for the pictures. The base has N.F.L. embossed in front, not Minnesota Vikings. The bobble head looks better than these closeup pictures are showing, where the flaws are being magnified. This will be shipped by Priority Mail to get better handling and it will be insured. I have sold other bobble heads and know to pad it to prevent the head from knocking on the body. Other things for auction right now, Shipping costs will be paid by the winning bidder.
