Modernist Copper Enamel Dish by de Passille-Sylvestre 'BUY IT NOW' REDUCED FROM £450 Rare, vintage copper enamel dish. Hand made and fully signed by the artists Micheline de Passille and Yves Sylvestre. This dish is an early, 60s piece, decorated with a striking contemporary design in vibrant blue, black and grey tones. It measures 9¾ inches diameter, weighing 630g. The talented husband and wife team of Canadian modernist designers, Micheline de Passille and Yves Sylvestre began their shop in St. Adele PQ in 1960. Talented enamalists, their work embodies the most prized elements of colour and form related to modern design. They not only designed and enamelled jewellery, but tableware as well. Their early work is all hand done, enamelled on both sides, and hand signed, and is becoming increasingly sought after. de Passille-Sylvestre pieces have become very collectable. This is a very rare and lovely design and the dish is in immaculate condition. The dish weighs 630g without packaging and this is reflected in the postage costs.. Paypal only.
