Up for auction is an early 19th century solid Cherry Corner Cupboard. This is a one piece cupboard. It measures 78" high x 40" wide x 18" deep. Weighs approximately 125 pounds. I've had the cupboard for about six years. the person I purchased it from indicated the cupboard was made in Pennsylvania. The cupboard features a center drawer with dovetail corners and chamfered drawer bottom. The interior is painted white. All the interior shelves are in excellent condition for storage. The construction is old square nails. The doors are mortise and tenon construction. Wonderful scalloped base. Nice old patina on the cherry. Overall condition of this fine old antique is excellent with no missing pieces, no cracks or broken boards. This is a no reserve auction with a $999.00 starting bid. The cupboard can be picked up at our Melboune, Fl. residence or we can assist the buyer to arrange for truck freight. A recent quote to package and motor freight to Pennsylvania is $425.00.
