Early 19th Century 4" Wooden MINIATURE Picture Frame

This is an early 19th century wooden miniature picture frame, it measures 4" x 4 1/2" outside, 2" x 2 1/2" inside and it is in good condition, t is a wear ring around the outside front (see pictures) w it looks like someone rubbed this frame as they peered at the picture that was once inside, I can't think of any other reason for such a worn area, it has a nice, early brass hanger too, I think this was from the Nightingale's as t is mention in one of the inventories of the house a small framed miniature of Samuel Nightingale which was on the mantle in the livingroom. Any specific questions, please email. Buyer to pay $2.00 S&H. (please check out our other auctions for more items related to the Trowbridge/Nightingale families from 1750's to 1930's, which we will be listing from now until we run out, literally 100's, if not 1,000's of items to follow, some really great stuff!!!)
