Early 19th Century American Empire Recaimer Sofa Condition: Good Personal Note: I inherited the antique sofa from my Grandmother. My Family is the original owner. Description and Information: Authentic (not a reproduction) Antique Carved Sofa with Buttoms and Brass Claw Legs. Pre-1900s sofa. Dated 1810-1840. Exquisite Wood Carved Design bordered with Beautiful Buttons. Detailed wood frame. See pictures Salmon fabric in good condition. Professionally reupholstered in 1963. No rips or tears. Sofa has been in storage and covered up for protection but does need light cleaning from dust over the years. Solid, sturdy, clean, and from a smoke-free environment. Very comfortable. T are a few signs of damage or repairs. Few scratches on the wood. T has been some repairs on the couch, but had been fixed professionally.
