Rare Early 19th C Wedding Band Hog Scraper Candlestick Rare Wedding Band Hog Scraper Candlestick Larger than most sized hog scraper candlesticks, this example measures an impressive 8 1/4" tall with a base measurement of 4 3/4" in diameter. Superb overall construction, this piece is all hand forged, black smith made. As you can see one of the most alluring details of this candlestick is the applied brass "wedding band" on the center shaft. Please take a moment to click on the pictures of the candlestick to see enlargements and details of the piece. As you can see t is some age corrosion running over the piece with scattered areas of pitting. It's likely this piece spent decades exposed to the elements in a barn or other non insulated structure.
