Offered for a 7-Day, NO RESERVE auction is this gorgeous, guaranteed antique and original, 4 x 4 ceramic tile, decorated in black, yellow and olive green cuenca. This is one of the best figural tiles I've come across in a very long time and it can be yours for NO RESERVE ! Although this gorgeous art pottery period tile is unsigned, it is of the highest quality, and most likely was created in a quality american ceramic or european ceramic shop. In any event, you will not be disappointed with this tile - I guarantee it 100% to be as stated. HEY FOLKS...***THIS IS "NOT" a reproduction tile, it is the real deal - early 20th century...Great Glazes...Minimal crazing, expertly executed... This ceramic art pottery tile with black cat motif is 4 & 1/8" square and just shy of 1/2" thick. As you can see on the back, t are pencil markings from w it was initially installed. The lighter areas of the back are w some old mortar and glue were removed so that the tile would sit flat. You can use it as a paperweight, or you could frame it and hang it anyw you want. It will be an attention grabber, that's for sure. It is in MINT Original Condition , no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs and/or retouches on this tile whatsoever. Also makes a great gift for the tile collector and/or cat lover you know...How cool would that be???? Get it while you can...
