This is a super piece of early 20th century railroad history-an original hand painted and lettered sign from the Lackawanna Railroad that originally hung on a depot building in upstate NY (near Owego)...Sign is in all original as found and unrestored condition..all wood with black painted background,yellow lettering and shows age and surface wear to the paint from being displayed...no breaks or damages just the paint stressing,sign has the original mounting holes..large size,it measures 96" long x 6" wide and would be a great addition to any collection or as a display in a model railroad room etc...early Lackawanna Railroad sign looks and displays well and is guaranteed old and authentic...shipping will be based on size and weight to your zip code and we will check into various options on a carrier for you(maybe oversized for the US Post Office)...check listing for other vintage railroad items from this upstate NY estate
