A 1950s East German design classic. Everything works well . All is clean, bright and fully working. There is a very slight knock to the right shoulder - photographed - it is tiny. No meter on this model. It includes the original screw on hood and cap. I believe the supply of Synchro-Compurs was halted for political reasons before 1960 so it is not hard to date this example. It does not have the extended choice range of the later Prestor shutter but neither does it suffer from the capping fault that can develop on that otherwise excellent DDR design. The viewfinder is the older non-adjustable type with parallax marks: it is clear. The case is as shown, some slight wear but all stitching and the strap are intact.The neck strap is plaited leather, not original. My records show that my mailings to South America simply do not arrive, only one successful delivery out of ten parcels in a two year period suggests that postal services in those countries have yet to be established. I can't continue to refund these buyers so, regretably I no longer mail to those countries. Postage quoted does not include insurance. I am occasionally asked to falsify Customs documentation.
