Early 7/16" Yellow Birch Side Bead Wood Molding Plane
This is an 18th century yellow birch side bead molder. It has all the characeristics of an 18th century plane - low shoulders, narrow, flat chamfers, body size (9-1/2 x only 2-3/4" high), and length of the tang on the iron. It is boxed at the quirk, but the boxing is not very deep. The wedge is the correct style, but seems a bit small, and could be a replacement. T is no maker's mark on the toe. Shipping charges above are domestic only. Insurance available at USPS rates. Foreign shipping either USPS First Class International or Priority Mail. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED - your full payment (bid + s/h/ins), will be refunded upon return of item if dissatisfied. Please email me within 3 days of delivery to become eligible for your refund. Sorry but your return s/h/ins fees are not refundable. This auction created and managed by kAuction from Kinem Software
