You are bidding on one absolutely lovely vintage/antique 8" Weller jardiniere with winged cherubs, beautuiful scrolled figures, 2 small handles, and 4 small feet . It has a lovely majolica and deep rose finish. This jardiniere measures just over 8" high with a 9" opening. Including the handles, this piece is 10 1/2" across. This jardiniere is in near mint condition - no hairline cracks -even when held to bright light and looking with a magnifying glass and has the faintest of crazing - not noticeable unless examining up very close. The only flaw it has is a tiny flake/chip on one "foot". This flake/chip is appx 7-8mm across and 5mm top to bottom. It is probably 2 -3mm deep. Upon examination with a magnifying glass and even in the close up photo you can see bits of what looks like a white glaze -possibly the base glaze? Anyway, for its age, this piece is in amazing condition. This is a wonderful antique piece with an incredibly low opening bid and NO RESERVE!
