For auction is an early ALPHABET SAMPLER on linen, with the
initials "T R" prominently stitched in the center bottom and at the
top right corner.

Details: This sampler seems to be have been done freelance as opposed
to a schooled one in a controlled design. T are The linen background is somewhat browned by age and the multicolored
stitches are muted by age also. Estimated age - probably 1850 or before. The year is not
specified on the sampler. Size - about 28 1/2" X 11 1/4". Condition is good. T are no tears, no holes, except for a few
small spots, a little threadbare. Not serious. Not framed.

The sampler looks old and feels old. It seems to have been done by someone
with a freedom of expression and is quite intriguing. Will make a nice addition
to a collection, or a suitable beginning to a new collection.

Buyer pays $4.05 for shipping priority. Insurance
is extra. Uninsured shipment is your responsibility

1. Buyer notifies us with intent to return the sampler within
three days of its receipt, after three days sale is FINAL. 2. The sampler is returned in the same condition it was sent.
