The Buyer of this rare American Fraktur ,forgot that when you buy something ,you have to have the money to pay for it. It was never paid for. I get a few non Paying Bidders ,but didn't expect one this early in the Year . I'm relisting it ,the high bid on it was 315.00 . Now the listing,...This is ,by far ,the earliest Dated American Fraktur I have ever seen !!!! It's condition is fair , caused by the Ink Burns of the Ink being applied to heavily in some places ,a normal thing to see on most any Fraktur. If this was a few notches in condition higher ,it would easliy bring 8,000.00 an higher. In the center is seen the Most Gorgeous American ,Striped ,Folky Spread Winged Eagle you're ever going to see !!!! The Top are is a large Parrot ,then as you go down, you'll see a Chicken ,a Robin , a Quail, and 2 Pigeons ,one having the date "1711" under it. There is also a Folky Tulip ,and another flower. The Paper is Hand Laid ,proper for this period. A long time ago ,someone had attached it to another piece of Paper out of a School Workbook, a masterpiece in writing examplar. As it is ,it's still a remarkable piece of early Americana !!!! It is unframed ,and measures 8" wide x 11 3/4" high.
