DescriptionEarly tin Egg Coddler holds 12 eggs. The tub has ornate handles with wood spacers. The egg caddy lifts out to place and remove the cooked eggs. Over the years great care has been taken to preserve this old piece, as shown by the Soldering on the inside. It was also over- painted at some point with a silver paint that is now wearing off. This is an authentic Antique! This looks like a piece made by a tinsmith to fulfill a need in a rural town.Condition is very good.Size: 9" to top of handle.6" to top of tub8 3/4" handle to handle6 6/8" Width of tub5 1/2" Depth of tubEgg holes-- 1/2" DiameterPAYMENTBuyer prepays.
