Hi Folks, Before I get into the description, I would like to give you a quick rundown of how my Dad and I acquired these great artifacts. My Dad became acquainted with an older gentleman who said he had some arrowheads for sale. He said he was not a collector but that a couple of years ago he inherited them from his brother after his passing. He also had not been a collector. He was a high end house painter in the state of Illinois . He accepted the points as payment towards a paint job he had done in the late 1950(s). They have been in various clothes closets ever since --- WELL UNTIL NOW!!!! So please bear with me while I do my best to identify these wonderful artifacts. Many were marked in pencil with the state or county w they had been found. All of them are loaded with patina. I am an AACA member and am giving you a 30 day money-back guarantee on authenticity. ******************************* EARLY ARCHAIC SIDE NOTCH - From Missouri This point comes with a Jackson Certificate of Authenticity Perfectly flaked. It is a nice thin point and is gray in color loaded with patina. The material is Fossil Chert and has a nice gloss to it. On page 700 of Overstreet's 9 th edition, center of the page t is a point that is almost identical to this one. It measures 2 ¾ inches x 1 1/8 inches. I have listed this as NO reserve Bid
